At the agreed time we'll meet at Do Mar Avenue, and we'll begin our unique experience: swimming with dolphins off the coast of Madeira. Are you ready?

We'll start the excursion by boarding a boat that will take us out to sea to one of the locations known for the large number of dolphins that congregate there. As we sail on the Atlantic Ocean, the guide will provide information about the life of the marine mammals in the waters around the Portuguese island.

Once we reach the designated spot, we'll stop the engine and wait for the dolphins to start appearing around the boat. It'll then be time to swim with them! In small groups we'll enter the water holding onto a rope attached to the boat, equipped with snorkeling material provided for us. Safely treading water, we'll enjoy the experience of swimming alongside dolphins. Unforgettable!

After sailing along the coast of Madeira, we'll return to the original meeting point where the activity will conclude 2 hours later.

Dolphin Sightings

Madeira Island's natural environment allows for swimming with dolphins and other marine animals. However, the animals are unpredictable. The sighting of dolphins depends on various factors such as weather, sea currents, and seasonal changes in species. To preserve their natural environment, we can't guarantee that every swimming with dolphins experience will happen in open sea, but in 90% of cases, it does occur.
