Dolphin Encounter in Madeira

At the agreed time, we'll meet at Do Mar Avenue to begin our experience of swimming with dolphins off the coast of Madeira. We will board a boat that will take us to areas known for dolphin congregations. During the journey on the Atlantic Ocean, the guide will provide information about the marine mammals in the region.

Upon reaching the designated spot, we will stop the engine and await the dolphins' arrival. In small groups, we will enter the water holding onto a rope attached to the boat, using snorkeling gear provided. We will have the opportunity to swim alongside friendly dolphins.

After the experience, we will return to the starting point, concluding the activity in approximately 2 hours.

Dolphin Sightings

Madeira Island's natural environment supports swimming with dolphins and other marine animals. However, dolphin sightings are unpredictable and depend on factors such as weather conditions, sea currents, wind direction, and breeding seasons. While we strive for a successful encounter, we cannot guarantee that every swimming experience will occur in open sea. In 90% of cases, swimming with dolphins is successful.
