Madeira Bays Boat Ride

Sail the Atlantic and enjoy views of Machico Bay and D'Abra Bay on this boat ride from Funchal. A delicious meal will be served on board as you admire the coastline of Madeira.

Bay Cruise Details

Pickup is available from your hotel or at Pier 8 of the Funchal Marina at the indicated time to begin the boat trip. The cruise will pass alongside two of Funchal's beautiful bays: Machico Bay and D'Abra Bay.

Initially, we will sail along Machico Bay, known for its busy beach and as the first capital of Madeira, featuring several colonial buildings from early explorers.

The trip continues to D'Abra Bay, known as the "wild bay," characterized by prominent cliffs and reddish rocks. A visit to Ponta de São Lourenço includes a stop for swimming and relaxation in this setting, followed by a delicious meal on board on the way back to Funchal.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes hotel pickup from Caniço and Garajau. Pickup from Calheta and Ponta do Sol is available with an 11EUR supplement payable in cash on the tour day.

If hotel pickup is not preferred, we will meet at Pier 8 in Funchal Marina.
