Madeira Farm Tour

On this tour through the farms of Funchal, we'll experience the landscapes and ways of life in rural Madeira, and see how the famous Requeijão cheese is made.

Madeira Farm Tour

At the established time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Madeira and drive towards the interior of the island. First, we'll visit a banana farm to learn about the planting, cultivation, and harvesting of bananas, followed by a visit to a factory where banana products are made. The next stop will be at a winery for a wine tasting. After this, we'll visit a cattle farm to see how Requeijão da Madeira cheese is made.

We will continue visiting another winery and a sugar cane farm. After these activities, we will go to a restaurant for a traditional Madeiran lunch made from local products. Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Madeira, arriving about seven hours after pickup.
