Madeira Farm Tour

On this tour through the farms of Funchal, we'll experience the landscapes and ways of life in rural Madeira. We'll also see how the famous Requeijão cheese is made.

Madeira Farm Tour

At the established time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Madeira and drive towards the interior of the island where the more rural areas are located.

First, we'll visit a banana farm to learn about the planting, cultivation, and harvesting of this fruit. Then, we'll head to a factory where banana products are made.

Next, we will visit a winery for a wine tasting. Following this, we'll go to a cattle farm to see how the famous Requeijão da Madeira cheese is produced.

We'll continue our tour with a visit to another winery and a sugar cane farm. After these experiences, we'll enjoy a traditional Madeiran lunch made from local products at a restaurant.

After lunch, we'll return to your hotel in Madeira, where we'll arrive about seven hours after pickup.
