Activity Details

At the designated time, our team will meet you at your Funchal hotel to transport you in an off-road vehicle towards the northeast, where you can soak in the island's natural splendor.

Our first destination is Pico do Arieiro, standing at 1,818 meters (5,965 feet), which offers unparalleled views as the third-highest summit in Madeira.

Following this, we will proceed to Santana, renowned for its traditional thatched-roof homes that have withstood the test of time for over 250 years. These charming residences embody the resilience and architectural history of Madeira.

Next, our journey will take us to Porto da Cruz, where you'll gain insights into the time-honored methods that have contributed to the global fame of Madeiran rum. The adventure culminates at Ponta de São Lourenço, affectionately dubbed "Madeira's Dragon Tail," where you can admire the vivid volcanic hues and imposing cliffs!

After seven hours of exploration, we will return to our original meeting point.
