5-Day West Galapagos Islands Cruise

Embark on a 5-day cruise through the western Galapagos Islands featuring Santa Cruz, Isabela, Fernandina, and Santiago. Enjoy an all-inclusive boat experience while exploring the biodiversity of the archipelago.

Description

Day 1: Baltra Island - Santa Cruz Island

At 9:08 am, arrival at Baltra airport, followed by bus transfer to the ship. After lunch on board, visit the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center on Santa Cruz Island to see giant tortoises and land iguanas. Return to the ship for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Isabela Island

The day is spent on Isabela, starting with breakfast and a visit to Punta Moreno to view Sierra Negra and Cerro Azul volcanoes. Hike to admire lakes and mangroves. After lunch, visit Urbina Bay to explore volcanic sediments and seek giant tortoises and Darwin's finches. Dinner on the boat follows.

Day 3: Fernandina Island - Isabela Island

After breakfast, head to Punta Espinosa on Fernandina Island to observe marine iguanas and flightless cormorants. In the afternoon, travel through the Bolivar Channel to Punta Vicente Roca for snorkeling opportunities. Return to the boat for dinner and rest.

Day 4: Santiago Island - Rábida Islet

Following breakfast, visit Puerto Egas to learn about Santiago Island's history. After lunch, explore Rábida Island, noted for its reddish rocks and lagoon with flamingos. Return to the ship for dinner.

Day 5: Santa Cruz Island - Baltra Island

On the last day, breakfast is followed by a panoramic tour of Tortuga Negra Cove on a zodiac boat to view mangroves and marine life. Conclude the cruise with a transfer back to Baltra airport.

Accommodation

This tour includes 4 nights on the Archipel I boat with full board. Options for accommodation include a double room with a double bed or twin beds.
