Charles Darwin Research Station Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at your hotel in Puerto Ayora and walk to the Charles Darwin Research Station, a notable location in the Galapagos Islands. Inside this biological research station, operated by the Charles Darwin Foundation, we will encounter tortoises, iguanas, and land birds. Information about these animals and Darwin's research will be provided.
The tour will include a visit to the giant cactus forests and the active breeding center. During our walk, we will discuss ongoing research, particularly in environmental conservation.
After a 2.5-hour guided tour, we will return to the starting point with many photos of giant tortoises and iguanas.
Hotel Pickup
The tour includes pickup at hotels in Puerto Ayora. For those staying in another area of the island, we will meet at the Solymar Hotel.
