North Seymour Island is a haven for incredible wildlife: discover a world of sea lions, iguanas and different birds on this day trip from Santa Cruz Island.

At 6:30 am, you'll be picked up from your hotel on Santa Cruz Island and transported to the Itabaca Channel, where we will board a boat for the cruise to North Seymour Island.

As we approach North Seymour, keep an eye out for various wildlife species. Observe birds including blue-footed boobies, swallow-tailed gulls, and magnificent frigatebirds.

During the tour, we will learn about the history and geology of the island, formed by an underwater lava formation. We will explore its arid terrain and observe cacti, palo santo, and other indigenous plants.

You may also have the chance to encounter the sea lions and a significant colony of iguanas as we stroll along the rocky coastline.

Before returning to port in the afternoon, a traditional lunch consisting of fish and rice will be served. The tour concludes with the group returning to Puerto Ayora at approximately 2:30 pm.
