Santa Cruz Island Bike Tour

On the Santa Cruz Island Bike Tour, you will encounter the giant tortoises of the Galápagos archipelago and cycle around the island, taking in spectacular views. Pickup will either be from your hotel on Santa Cruz Island or at San Francisco Park in Puerto Ayora. After a 15-minute drive, the tour begins in the island's jungles.

The bike tour covers 9 miles (14 kilometers) over one hour through lush jungles. During the ride, you will learn about the local flora and visit areas inhabited by giant Galápagos tortoises. Important facts about these animals will be shared, including their adult weight.

There will be a stop to explore lava tunnels and learn about the geology of the Galápagos, as well as a snack break before returning to the starting point. On the way back, a visit to Nymphs Lagoon is scheduled for relaxation and photography. The entire experience lasts 4-5 hours.
