- 8 Stunden
Tour South Plaza Island, one of the most spectacular corners of the Galápagos. You'll get to see endemic species such as land iguanas and blue-footed boobies!
South Plaza Island Excursion
We'll pick you up at your hotel on Santa Cruz Island at 8 am. From there, a 45-minute bus ride will take us to the Itabaca Channel, where we'll board a boat to South Plaza Island.
Upon arrival, we might be greeted by several families of sea lions at the dock. We'll disembark to observe blue-footed boobies and iguanas resting in the shade of cacti, and may spot hybrid iguanas as well.
Next, we'll head to Punta Carrión, a small bay for snorkeling to explore the marine life of the Galápagos.
A lunch break will provide a meal of a sandwich, fruit, and juice. Continuing, we'll visit a cliff showcasing reddish vegetation covering the rocks for a panoramic view.
On our return to the dock, we'll stop at a beach hosting one of the largest colonies of sea lions in the Galápagos Islands. At 4 pm, after eight hours of exploration, we'll return you to your hotel on Santa Cruz Island.
