Alezio, Tuglie & Porto Selvaggio Bike Tour

Do you know the province of Lecce? In this bike tour through Alezio, Tuglie and Porto Selvaggio, we'll cycle through three of the most beautiful towns in the region of Apulia, in the south of Italy.

Pedal Your Way Through the Lecce Region

We'll meet at the designated time in front of the Gallipoli train station. After familiarizing ourselves with the route, we'll begin our cycling journey through Lecce. This province in the Apulia region of southern Italy is home to charming towns that we will explore.

We will cycle east for about half an hour until we reach Alezio. In this village, we’ll make our first stop at a local dairy factory for a tasting of various dairy products.

After the tasting, we'll continue to Tuglie, passing by the Radio Museum and the Museum of Rural Civilization. We will not enter these museums, but we’ll share interesting facts about their collections.

Next, we'll head towards the Natural Reserve of Porto Selvaggio, where we can enjoy a dip in its cool waters. We'll take a break under a pine forest along the coastline, which is a suitable spot for a picnic.

After lunch, we’ll ride through the coastal town of Santa Caterina before returning to the meeting point in Gallipoli, concluding this 8-hour tour.
