Do you know the province of Lecce? In this bike tour through Alezio, Tuglie and Porto Selvaggio we'll cycle through three of the most beautiful towns in the region of Apulia, in the south of Italy.

Pedal Your Way Through the Lecce Region

We'll meet at the designated time in front of the Gallipoli train station. After familiarizing ourselves with the route, we'll begin our cycling journey through Lecce. This province in the Apulia region of southern Italy is home to charming towns that will leave a lasting impression, and we'll explore three of the most remarkable ones!

As we leave Gallipoli behind, we'll cycle east for about half an hour until we reach Alezio. In this village, we’ll make our first stop at a local dairy factory for a tasting of various dairy products.

After the tasting, we'll hop back on our bikes towards Tuglie, passing by the Radio Museum and the Museum of Rural Civilization. We will learn interesting facts and stories about these collections without entering the museums.

Next, we'll ride towards the Natural Reserve of Porto Selvaggio, where we can enjoy a refreshing dip in the spring waters and take a break under a pine forest along the coastline. A picnic is recommended for a relaxing rest.

After lunch, we'll continue cycling through Santa Caterina before returning to the meeting point in Gallipoli, concluding this 8-hour tour.
