What to Expect
In the morning, we will collect you from Kinlay Hostel in Galway's city centre. By bus, we will travel south along the Wild Atlantic Way, through villages such as Clarenbridge, Kilcogan, Ballindereen, and Ballyvaughan.
The Cliffs of Moher
Our first stop is the Cliffs of Moher, which span over 8 kilometres (5 miles) and rise to 210 metres (688 feet). These cliffs are one of the prominent natural landmarks in the area.
The Aran Islands: Inisheer
Next, we will head to Doolin to catch a ferry to Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands. This 30-minute journey may offer dolphin sightings. Upon arrival, you can explore freely. See the ruins of St. Cavan's Church from the 10th century and the Plassey shipwreck. After exploring, we will return to the mainland, where you can enjoy another view of the Cliffs of Moher before a one-hour free exploration period at the summit.
We will conclude the tour with a bus ride back to Galway, totaling approximately 10 hours of activity.
