What to Expect
On the morning of the activity, we'll collect you from Kinlay Hostel in Galway's city centre. We'll head south along the Wild Atlantic Way, through the villages of Clarenbridge, Kilcogan, Ballindereen, and Ballyvaughan, known for their medieval ruins and 16th-century houses.
The Cliffs of Moher
Our first stop will be at the Cliffs of Moher, which extend over 8 kilometres (5 miles) in length and rise to 210 metres (688 feet) tall. These cliffs are considered one of Ireland's most significant natural landmarks.
The Aran Islands: Inisheer
After visiting the cliffs, we'll head to the town of Doolin and take a ferry to Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands, with a 30-minute journey where dolphins may be seen. On the island, you can explore at your own pace, enjoy the culture and landscapes, and see the ruins of St. Cavan's Church and the Plassey shipwreck.
After exploring, we'll return to the mainland, taking in another view of the Cliffs of Moher. You'll have an hour of free time before the bus returns to Galway, concluding the tour after approximately 10 hours of activity.
