If you're after a pleasant day in the countryside, we've got it covered! On our Connemara & Diamond Hill Day Trip, you'll explore a beautiful natural area and walk around Diamond Hill at your leisure.

Connemara & Diamond Hill Day Trip

Having picked you up from the Hyde Hotel in Galway at 10 am, we'll set off for Connemara. A day of nature and fun in one of Ireland's six national parks awaits!

After approximately one hour of driving, we'll stop in the village of Leenane for free time to explore. You can enjoy an Irish coffee or whisky in local pubs.

We will then continue to Killary Fjord, Ireland's only fjord, which serves as a natural border between Galway and Mayo, offering breathtaking views.

In Letterfrack, you will have 2 hours of free time to explore the park and hike up to Diamond Hill via one of three available routes, each differing in length and difficulty. You can also purchase drinks and sandwiches before hiking.

After the hike, we'll begin our return journey to Galway, driving along Connemara's coastline to admire the views.

Before the day ends, we'll visit the Gaelic village of An Spidéal, where you'll have around 15 minutes to explore its streets and thatched houses.

Our day trip concludes with drop-off in central Galway at 5:30 pm.
