Connemara Safari

  • 4 Stunden

Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of County Galway and discover wildlife on this private safari in Connemara National Park.

Connemara Safari

After meeting at 5:30 am at Letterfrack Country Shop, we will board a 4x4 vehicle and head to Connemara National Park for a wildlife-watching safari.

This expansive park in County Galway features forests, meadows, and mountains, hosting numerous animal species native to Ireland. Our private safari will focus on exploring Connemara in search of its wildlife, particularly the red deer.

We hope to observe these mammals' unusual rituals during the mating season, including the peculiar sounds they make and their antler clashes. Additionally, we will look for the sheep and various bird species that inhabit the national park.

After the safari, we will enjoy a tea or coffee with cookies, concluding the tour at the meeting point by 9 am.
