Ferry to Inis Mór

Set sail from Rossaveel Harbour and enjoy a 40-minute ferry ride to the island. Upon arrival, you will have the rest of the day to explore its landscapes at your own pace. Be sure to see as much as you can.

During your visit, you have the option to sample local food and drink at a traditional Irish restaurant. Alternatively, you can enjoy a horse and carriage ride around the island, visiting iconic locations and ancient monuments like the Poll na bPéist (Wormhole) and rugged sea cliffs.

Ferry times

This ticket allows you to take the ferry at the following times:

Rossaveel to Inis Mór: 10:30 am, 1 pm or 6:30 pm.Inis Mór to Rossaveel: 8:15 am or 5 pm. An additional departure at 9 am is available on Saturdays.

Important Information

You must arrive at the ferry terminal at least 45 minutes before departure. If you take the ferry from Rossaveel to Inis Mór at 6:30 pm, you will need to stay overnight on the island. Accommodation costs are not included in the price of the ticket.
