Ferry to Inis Mór

Set sail from Rossaveel Harbour and enjoy a 40-minute ferry ride to the island. Upon arrival, you will have the rest of the day to explore its landscapes at your own pace. Be sure to see as much as you can!

While on the island, which has been inhabited since 3,000 BC, you can sample local food and drink at a typical Irish restaurant or opt for a horse and carriage ride to visit iconic locations. The island features ancient monuments and natural features including the Poll na bPéist (Wormhole) and rugged sea cliffs.

Ferry times

This ticket allows you to take the ferry at the following departure times:

Rossaveel to Inis Mór: 10:30 am, 1 pm, or 6:30 pm.Inis Mór to Rossaveel: 8:15 am or 5 pm. On Saturdays, there is an additional departure at 9 am.

Important Information

You must arrive at the ferry terminal at least 45 minutes before departure. If taking the ferry from Rossaveel to Inis Mór at 6:30 pm, you will need to stay overnight on the island. The cost for the overnight stay is not included in the ticket price.
