Inisheer Ferry & Moher Cliffs Boat Tour

Our ferry will depart from Doolin Port, with a journey time of 15 minutes. After arrival, you'll have free time to explore Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands.

Activities include strolling on the beach with views of the Burren and Cliffs of Moher, hiring bikes, horses and carts, or taking tractor and minibus tours to discover local traditions.

Cliffs of Moher Boat Tour

Following your time on Inisheer, you will depart again from Doolin Port to see the Cliffs of Moher from the water. These cliffs rise over 700 feet (214 metres). On the boat, notable landmarks include O'Brien's Tower and Hags Head. Fans of Harry Potter can see the sea cave featured in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

This tour lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour.

Schedules

Boat departures occur daily at the following times:

Departure from Doolin: 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 2:30 pm, and 5:15 pm.Return from Inisheer: 11:30 am, 1:45 pm, and 4:45 pm.Cliffs of Moher Boat Tour: 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm, and 5:15 pm.

Arrive at the departure terminal at least 45 minutes before the ferry departs, for both journeys. Note that if you take the 5:15 pm ferry to Inisheer, you must return the next day and organize your overnight stay independently.
