Are you ready to uncover some of Margarita Island's hidden gems? If your answer is affirmative, we will collect you from your hotel to commence this day-long adventure that includes a visit to La Asunción and Macanao.

Our first stop will be the city of La Asunción. Here, we will take a leisurely stroll through the streets, revealing the city's key attractions. You'll visit Plaza Bolívar, home to the Nueva Cádiz Museum, the Cathedral of La Asunción, and the Monseñor Nicolás Navarro Culture House, an ideal venue to delve into the region's artistic heritage.

Next, we will make our way to the Santa Rosa de la Eminencia Castle, an ancient fort perched in a mountainous area of La Asunción, offering breathtaking views of the valley as we delve into its storied past.

After exploring La Asunción, our journey continues toward the Macanao Peninsula. Along the route, keep an eye out for natural wonders, including the Tetas de María Guevara. Upon reaching the Laguna de la Restinga National Park, we'll embark on a boat ride through the mangroves, allowing us to spot the diverse birdlife that inhabits this area.

After about 30 minutes of exploration, we will return to shore and board 4x4 vehicles for a thrilling tour of the northern Macanao. Expect to be enchanted by the tropical beaches of Auyama and El Coco, alongside a backdrop of native flora that is sure to captivate your senses!

Following our adventures, we’ll head to a local restaurant on Punta Arena beach to savor a traditional Margarita Island meal. Once we’ve eaten, we’ll continue to explore Macanao, stopping at the Boca Chica Lagoon and the Fortín de la Galera, an excellent spot to enjoy the evening sun.

Ultimately, we will conclude our tour with the return to your hotel, arriving after approximately 10 to 11 hours of delightful discovery.
