On this tour of La Asunción and Pampatar, we'll explore the history of both cities in Nueva Esparta and enjoy a boat ride around La Restinga and relax on Los Cocos Beach.

Description

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to start our journey to La Asuncion, the capital of Nueva Esparta. We will take a guided tour to learn about Venezuela's history, stopping at key locations including Bolivar Square, the Nueva Cadiz Museum, Nuestra Señora de la Asunción Church, and the Casa de la Cultura Monseñor Nicolás Navarro.

We will also visit the Basílica del Valle to understand the significance of handmade crafts on Isla Margarita and the Virgen del Valle. Afterward, we will proceed to Pampatar to see the San Carlos de Borromeo Castle and the Cristo del Buen Viaje Chapel. Next is the Punta Ballena Lighthouse for views of the Pampatar salt flats. We will then head to Los Cocos Beach for a traditional meal, followed by free time on the beach before visiting La Galera Fort for sunset. The tour concludes with a return to your hotel after approximately 10-11 hours.

You can enhance your trip by booking the option that includes a boat ride around La Restinga Lake. After La Asunción, we will take you to the port to board a boat for exploring the mangroves in La Restinga.
