Tacarigua Hike + Lunch on Zaragoza Beach

On this tour, we'll go on a hiking route around Tacarigua and relax on the beach in Zaragoza. Plus, we'll try typical food on Isla Margarita.

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head to Tacarigua, the starting point for our hiking route, offering views of Isla Margarita. After about half an hour of travel, we'll arrive at Jardín Café. Here, we'll begin our ascent through lush vegetation to a viewpoint at one of the highest peaks in Tacarigua.

Over the next 3 hours, we'll explore the area's nature and wildlife. The effort will be rewarded with stunning views of Isla Margarita. Don't forget your camera!

After the hike, we'll recharge with an empanada pastry and a fruit juice, or a cachapa. Following this, we'll board the minibus to Zaragoza Square, where we will have a fish-based lunch.

You will have one hour of free time to enjoy the beach, relax, and swim.

Later, we will visit the Museo Pueblos in Margarita to see how sugar cane is used to make a traditional trapiche, followed by a rum tasting experience with piñonate, a local treat.

On the return leg of the tour, we will visit La Galera Fort in Juangriego to admire the sunset.

We will then drop you back at your hotel after a total of 10-11 hours.
