Laguna Excursion

At 9 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Garopaba and drive south to Laguna, known for its coastal beauty in Santa Catarina.

We'll start the tour at the Santuário dos Botos, observing a unique fishing technique where dolphins help fishermen by surrounding schools of fish.

Next, we will visit the Anita Garibaldi Museum, dedicated to the famous Brazilian revolutionary and wife of Giuseppe Garibaldi. We will explore her significant political influence in 19th-century revolutionary movements in South America and Europe. A lunch stop will follow at a restaurant by the Canal da Barra, offering a typical regional dish with options for vegetarian, fish, chicken, or shrimp specialties.

After lunch, we will visit the Caminhantes Dunes and then the Santa Marta Lighthouse, one of the largest in the Americas. Nearby, we will see sambaquis, ancient ceremonial sites containing human remains and artifacts.

We will conclude the excursion by returning to your hotel in Garopaba, arriving at 5 pm.
