Annecy and Geneva Tour

Annecy is known as the “Venice of the Alps”. On this guided tour you will explore this beautiful French city and then enjoy a fabulous panoramic tour of Geneva.

Itinerary

We will meet up in the center of Geneva before taking the bus to Annecy in the French Alps.

The guided walking tour covers the city’s history, notably its governance by the House of Savoy. Annecy, with its renowned canals, is referred to as the ‘Venice of the Alps.'

The 45-minute tour includes key locations such as the Château d'Annecy castle and the Island Palace, which served as a prison during the Renaissance and World War II.

Post-tour, enjoy 2 hours of free time to explore the historic quarter and have lunch (food not included).

Afterward, we will return to Switzerland for a panoramic tour of Geneva. From an air-conditioned bus, you will view main attractions like the United Nations headquarters, the flower clock, and the Jet d'Eau.

The day concludes with a ride on the mini tourist train through Geneva's historic quarter.

Important information

The tourist train does not operate in January and February. Cancellations may occur for unforeseen reasons throughout the year. If canceled, the tour of the old town will be conducted on foot.

ID documentation may be required when crossing the border. Please bring a valid passport.
