Visit the most popular Alpine destination in France on this day trip from Geneva to the picturesque town of Chamonix, including a ticket to the Aiguille de Midi cable car!

Chamonix + Aiguille du Midi Day Trip

We'll meet at the Geneva bus station to begin our journey south and kick off our Alpine adventure. We will leave Switzerland and cross into France, where the charming town of Chamonix awaits at the foot of Mont Blanc. Here, visitors can discover the inspiring landscapes and the symbol of European Alpinism.

Upon arriving, we'll take a walking tour through Chamonix, visiting iconic landmarks such as St. Michael's Church and the Jacques Balmat statue, the first mountaineer to summit Mont Blanc.

After the walking tour, you will have about 4 hours of free time to explore the town and enjoy a meal. You will also receive your ticket to the Aiguille du Midi cable car. From the summit's panoramic viewpoint, you will see stunning landscapes of the French Alps. Your cable car ticket may grant access to the "Step Into the Void" attraction, which features a glass-bottomed terrace allowing views of Mont Blanc from 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) in the air, depending on weather conditions.

Finally, we will meet back in Chamonix to return to Switzerland, arriving in Geneva about 9.5 hours later.
