Chamonix + Aiguille du Midi Day Trip

We'll meet at the Geneva bus station to begin our journey south. Leaving Switzerland, we'll cross into France, arriving at the Alpine town of Chamonix, located at the base of Mont Blanc. Experience its renowned landscapes, which are a symbol of European Alpinism.

Upon arrival, we'll take a walking tour through Chamonix, visiting landmarks such as St. Michael's Church and the Jacques Balmat statue, the first mountaineer to summit Mont Blanc.

After the walking tour, you'll have about 4 hours of free time to explore the town and enjoy a meal. During this time, you'll receive your ticket to the Aiguille du Midi cable car. At the summit, enjoy stunning landscapes of the French Alps. Be sure to bring your camera.

Weather permitting, the cable car ticket includes access to the "Step Into the Void", a glass-bottomed terrace that offers views of Mont Blanc from approximately 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) above.

We'll reconvene in Chamonix for our return trip to Switzerland, arriving back in Geneva approximately 9.5 hours later.
