Chamonix is one of the world’s most famous locations for mountain sports. Discover this Alpine town on this tour and enjoy the spectacular views of Mount Blanc.

Chamonix Tour

After meeting at the central bus station (Gare Routiere) in Geneva, we'll head to Chamonix. After a 1.5-hour drive, we will reach this important mountaineering and winter sports center.

Upon arrival, you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore Chamonix. At noon, we will reconvene with the guide for a 40-minute guided tour.

During our walking tour through Chamonix, we'll visit main attractions like Saint Michel’s Church and the statue of Jacques Balmat, the first to summit Mount Blanc. The tour will provide insight into the history of Chamonix and its development as a key tourist location since the 19th Century.

After the tour, you’ll have free time to enjoy Chamonix, exploring the streets, sampling local cuisine, and visiting shops in this renowned ski resort.

We will return to Geneva around 6:15 pm.

Type of Guide and Group Size

The guide is guaranteed for groups of 10 or more. If the group is smaller, the tour will proceed with a driver providing commentary.
