Chamonix is one of the world’s most famous locations for mountain sports. Discover this Alpine town on this tour and enjoy the spectacular views of Mount Blanc.

Chamonix Tour

After meeting at the central bus station (Gare Routiere) in Geneva, we'll head to Chamonix. After an hour and a half’s drive, we'll arrive in the French mountain town, a significant mountaineering and winter sports center for over 100 years.

Shortly after arrival, you will have 2 hours of free time to explore Chamonix at your own pace. At noon, we will regroup for a guided tour lasting 40 minutes.

During our walking tour through Chamonix, we will visit main attractions, including Saint Michel’s Church and the statue of Jacques Balmat, the first mountaineer to summit Mount Blanc. The tour will cover the history of Chamonix and its development as a key Alpine tourist destination since the 19th Century.

After the tour, you will have free time to enjoy Chamonix at your leisure, exploring the wooden houses, tasting local cuisine, and shopping in this renowned ski resort.

We return to Geneva around 6:15 pm.
