Beautiful views of Lake Geneva, UNESCO-recognised terraced vineyards and a medieval fortress await on this Montreux Day Trip from Geneva.

Montreux Day Trip

We will depart from the Geneva bus station and head east towards Montreux, driving along the shores of Lake Geneva, which serves as a natural border between Switzerland and France.

The first stop will be in Corsier-sur-Vevey, which is home to Chaplin's World, a museum dedicated to the actor. Admission to the exhibition is included only during the winter season.

Next, we'll visit the terraced vineyards of Lavaux, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the summer, an aperitif will be provided in this setting.

We will then proceed to the Château de Chillon, a medieval fortress on the shores of Lake Geneva, which has inspired poets like Lord Byron.

After visiting the Château, we will drive to the centre of Montreux, where you will have approximately two hours of free time to have lunch and photograph the large statue of Freddie Mercury located beside Lake Geneva.

Finally, we will return to Geneva, arriving at the departure point between 6 pm and 6:30 pm.
