Biosphere Ticket
If you love design and are in Genoa, don't miss the opportunity to visit the Biosphere, an icon of this Ligurian city designed by famous architect Renzo Piano.
Why visit the Biosphere?
The Biosfera, or Biosphere, is one of the undisputed icons of Genoa and a staple in the city's skyline. This ticket will give you access to this monument, also known as La Bolla, or 'the bubble', designed by famous architect Renzo Piano. This glass sphere located in Genoa's Porto Antico houses a zoo and a tropical garden. Inside you'll find a recreation of a small jungle inhabited by butterflies, iguanas, and up to 150 types of tropical plants such as ferns, banana trees, and rubber trees. These species survive thanks to the modern facilities of the Biosphere, which allows heat from the sun to enter from the outside. You'll learn all kinds of interesting facts about botany!
