Genoa & Portofino Tour

Description

At the indicated time, we will meet at Piazza Caricamento to begin the tour of Genoa. The tour will start at the port of Genoa, where we will embark on a walking tour through the old town's labyrinth of narrow alleys. During the guided tour of Genoa, we will pass by the most significant monuments and learn about its rich maritime and commercial past.

After this, there will be free time for lunch, followed by a bus ride for a panoramic tour along the Gulf of Tigullio. We will explain why this area is referred to as the Gulf of the Dolphins.

We will make a stop in Santa Margherita Ligure, a picturesque fishing village, where we will board a boat bound for Portofino. This seaside town has been home to renowned writers and poets.

In Portofino, we will explore the town known as the pearl of the Italian Riviera, visit streets lined with small souvenir shops, and enjoy views of the Ligurian Sea and the atmosphere of its fishing port.

After your time in Portofino, we will take the boat back to Santa Margherita Ligure and board the bus back to Genoa. Eight hours after departure, we will return to the meeting point.
