East End Trip

At 8 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in George Town and take the road to the east of the island, crossing the residential district of South Sound until we reach Pedro St. James.

This place, also known to locals as Peter's Castle, is the manor house of an old plantation built in 1780, which has been refurbished and opened to the public. Here we'll get to watch an entertaining multimedia presentation explaining the history of the Cayman Islands and the house itself.

After the visit, we'll head to the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Garden, built in honour of the Queen of England. We'll walk along its trails, surrounded by plants indigenous to the island, and have fun discovering its friendly wildlife. Did you know that the blue iguana is a symbol of the Cayman Islands? Throughout the visit, we'll try to spot this fascinating animal as well as the parrots that inhabit the botanical garden.

Lastly, we'll go and visit the blowholes and marvel at this incredible natural phenomenon. Afterwards, we'll hop back in the vehicle and make our way back to George Town. Once we arrive, we'll take you back to your hotel or the cruise port.
