Discover the Cayman Islands on this trip to East End. You'll even meet the blue iguana, one of the islands' special creatures.
East End Trip
At 8 am, pickup will be from your hotel in George Town. The journey will take you east across the residential district of South Sound to Pedro St. James.
Here, also known as Peter's Castle, is the manor house of an old plantation built in 1780, which has been refurbished for public viewing. An entertaining multimedia presentation will explain the history of the Cayman Islands and of the house itself.
Following the visit, you'll proceed to the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Garden, established in honour of the Queen of England. You will walk along the trails amidst island-native plants and discover its wildlife. The blue iguana serves as a symbol of the Cayman Islands, and efforts will be made to spot this species along with the parrots that inhabit the garden.
Lastly, the tour will include a visit to the blowholes to observe this natural phenomenon. Afterward, you'll return to George Town where transportation back to your hotel or the cruise port will be provided.
