We'll meet at number 258 Jln Penang Street at the designated time and set off on our gastronomic tour of George Town. Many surprises await us in the capital of Penang.
We'll start by admiring the neoclassical church's façade. Then we'll explore the street stalls of George Town and taste up to 10 typical products. The fusion of cultures will be highlighted.
Our tour will continue at the Goddess of Mercy Temple, Kong Hock Keong, the first place of worship built by Chinese settlers in the 18th century. Here we'll learn about the role food plays in the locals' prayers.
The food tour will end in the city center after a total of 3.5 hours.
