This guided walking tour of Ghent begins at the Belfry and lasts two hours. We will visit the Castle of Gerald the Devil, St. Bavon's Cathedral (famous for the Ghent Altarpiece), the Belfry, and the Town Hall building. The tour includes the oldest monuments in the city: St. Nicholas Church, Masons' Guild Hall, the small medieval harbor known as "The Pier of Herbs and Grains," the Gravensteen Castle of Counts, the Patershol district, Friday Market Square, and the meat and fish markets. The tour ends in the center of Ghent.

If you're traveling from Brussels, take the train from the central station at 8:30 am. From there, take tram number 1 towards Centrum to Kouter Square, with the stop at Korte Meer.
