What is Anima Garden?

Situated some 30 kilometers to the south of Marrakech, the Anima Garden, or Andre Heller Garden as it is also called, is an essential excursion for visitors to the city. Known as the hidden corner of Marrakech, the garden was created by the artist Andre Heller and contains a variety of exclusive artworks that fill the enormous botanical garden with vivid colors.

During your visit, you can follow the tracks which weave between the trees, shrubs, bright flowers, and colorful sculptures, which decorate this paradise for the senses. You will also witness the magnificent snow-covered Atlas Mountains, including Toubkal Mountain – the highest not only in Morocco but also in North Africa and the Arab world.

Opening Hours

The Anima Garden is open every day at the following times:

From 1 November to 15 April, between 9 am to 5 pm.From 16 April to 31 October, between 9 am to 6 pm.

Transport to Anima Gardens

Anima Gardens offers a free shuttle service between Marrakech and the garden. The pickup spot in Marrakech is at the parking garage Et Lavage La Koutabia and drops off at the entrance to Anima Gardens. Below is the shuttle service schedule:

From Marrakech

Monday to Sunday: 9:30 am, 2:30 pm

From Anima Gardens

Monday to Sunday: 1 pm, 5:30 pm
