Hop onto a surfboard and learn to ride the waves of the Cantabrian Sea with our Gijón Surfing Lesson. An expert instructor will guide you as you gain confidence on the board at this urban beach.

Gijón Surfing Lesson

At your chosen time, we will meet on Avenida Rufo García Rendueles to begin the surfing lesson in Gijón.

Upon arrival at the surf school, wetsuits and surfboards will be distributed. We will proceed to the beach for technical exercises on the sand.

You will learn how to paddle and stand up on the board, in addition to useful tricks for when you're in the water. After this preparation, we will practice in the sea.

We will wait for the perfect wave to arrive, and then you can start paddling to catch and ride it. It is normal if you cannot stand on your first try, so persistence is key.

After 2 hours of surfing in the Cantabrian Sea, the lesson will conclude back at the surf school.
