Cadaques & Cap de Creus Day Trip
After meeting at 8:30 am in the Plaça de Sant Feliu in Girona, the tour heads to the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes in La Albera mountains. Visitors will explore this historic example of Catalan Romanesque architecture, including the church, bell tower, cloister, sacristies, and Abbot's palace. An English-speaking guide will provide insights into the monastery's history and architecture, accompanied by stunning views over the Gulf of Roses and Cap de Creus Natural Park.
At approximately 11 am, the tour continues to the breathtaking wilderness of Cap de Creus, the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula. The group will visit Portlligat to enjoy views of the Costa Brava. Cap de Creus is a protected area of natural interest, featuring coastal towns such as Port de la Selva, Roses, and Cadaques.
Participants will enjoy a half-hour walk in the park before traveling to Cadaques. Upon arrival, there will be an hour and a half for lunch at a local restaurant (not included). After lunch, a guided tour of Cadaques' historic center will take place.
