Costa Brava & Medieval Towns Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the River Café, in Plaça Sant Feliu in Girona, and start our guided tour of the Costa Brava.
First, visit the coastal towns of Llafranc and Calella, known for their sandy coves and historic fishing traditions. After exploring the clifftop paths, head to Begur, a Medieval town on a hill where you'll visit the ruins of the castle for views across the Gulf of Roses.
The next stop is Pals, characterized by climbing plants, moats, walls, and Romanesque towers. This town is known for its rice fields, offering an opportunity to sample locally-grown rice at a traditional restaurant, featuring a specialty of rice casserole (not included). Afterward, enjoy a stroll through artisan market stalls and visit the Torre de las Horas, the last remnant of the Castle of Pals, destroyed in the 15th Century.
Not far from Pals, visit Peratallada, one of Catalonia's best-preserved Medieval towns. On the return to Girona, stop at La Bisbal d’Empordà to admire traditional ceramics.
You'll arrive back in Girona at around 6 pm.
