Dali Tour of Figueres and Cadaques

Follow the footsteps of the celebrated artist Salvador Dalí on this tour that takes you to his birthplace Figueres and to two places that featured in his life Cadaqués and Cap de Creus. Take a step into the surreal world of Salvador Dalí.

Dali Tour Details

We will meet at Plaça de Sant Feliu in Girona at 8:30 am and head to Figueres, the town where Salvador Dalí was born. Dalí constructed a museum over the remains of the old theatre of Figueres, displaying numerous works of art created throughout his life.

For around two hours, we will explore the Dalí Theatre-Museum, discovering the artist's renowned works including Port Alguer, Muchacha de Figueres, La Cesta de Pan, and Galarina.

After viewing the artist's work, we will go to Cadaqués, where Dalí spent his childhood summer holidays. This fishing village on the Costa Brava was an important influence on him, reflected in his youthful work.

Next, we will visit Cap de Creus, a natural park known for its craggy landscapes and hidden coves. This area inspired Dalí, and we will see the exterior of his home in the bay of Port Lligat.

We will then arrive in Cadaqués, where a guided tour will cover local pirate and sailor legends and visit the Church of Santa Maria, which contains one of Cadaqués' most treasured artifacts.

We will return to Girona, arriving between 6 pm and 6:30 pm.
