After meeting at the specified time in Plaça de Sant Feliu, located on the banks of the Onya River, our guided walking tour of Girona will begin.
Firstly, we will admire the exterior of the Church of St Felix and learn about its legends and history. Our next stop will be the Arab baths, where we will discover their history, followed by a visit to Sant Pere de Galligants Abbey, a notable medieval monastery.
We'll proceed to the ancient city walls to explore Girona's Roman and Carolingian past. The tour continues through the historic city center, where our guide will discuss its medieval history while we admire the facade of the Cathedral, situated at the highest point of the city.
Next, we'll visit the Call, Girona's historic Jewish Quarter, strolling down Carrer de la Força and passing the birthplace of architect Rafael Masó. We will reach the banks of the Onyar River and see the Pont de les Peixateries Velles, designed by Gustave Eiffel's workshop.
