By booking a ticket to the Girona Cinema Museum, you will explore cinematic history from its origins in the late 19th century to its integration into television. Learn about milestones such as the invention of the cinematograph by the Lumière brothers in 1895. Observe various cinematographic equipment that illustrates the evolution of cinema.

Don't miss the Tomàs Mallol collection, known for its extensive variety and quantity of cinematographic instruments. The museum uses images and audiovisual shows to present cinema-related information in an engaging manner. It offers interactive activities for all audiences and houses nearly 8,000 objects.

Opening Hours

From September to June: Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm. Sundays and public holidays that fall on Mondays from 10 am to 2 pm.July and August: Mondays to Saturdays from 10 am to 7 pm. Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm.

Last admission is 45 minutes before closing time.

Entry is free on the first Sunday of each month, December 28th, and May 18th.
