Sightseeing Bus of Alesund

The open-top tourist bus follows a 70-minute route with eight stops at key locations. An English language audioguide provides commentary about the sights along the journey. Key stops include Ålesund church, Aksla viewpoint, Sunnmøre Museum, and the Aquarium.

How it works

The ticket is valid for 24 consecutive hours from first use. For example, activating it on Monday at 3 pm makes it valid until Tuesday at 3 pm. You can hop on and off the buses as many times as desired during this period. All bus tickets remain valid for three months from the reservation date.

Times and frequency

The Alesund sightseeing bus operates from 9 am to 4 pm with a frequency of once every 30 minutes.

Important information

This sightseeing bus only runs on days when a cruise ship is scheduled to arrive in the port.
