The Glasgow sightseeing bus offers an entertaining way to explore the city's main sights via a two-floor, convertible bus.
Route & Stops
The bus features the following routes:
Red route: an 80-minute route with 21 stops. Key stops include George Square, Glasgow Cathedral, Merchant City, Barras Market, Glasgow Green, St Vincent Place, Riverside Museum, Glasgow University, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and Charing Cross.Yellow Route: Available from April to September, this 90-minute route has 24 stops. Highlights are McLennan's Arch, Celtic Park, Barrowland, Ibrox Stadium, and Riverside Museum.
How Does it Work?
Two ticket types are available: the 24-hour ticket and the 48-hour ticket. You can hop on and off the buses as many times as desired during the chosen duration, visiting locations such as George Square, Glasgow University, Pollok Park, and others.
Additional Info
While booking requires a selected start day, you can use the service any time within 12 months. A voucher will be sent via email, which must be printed and shown on the first bus taken.
Schedule & Frequency
The Glasgow Hop-On Hop-Off bus operates daily (excluding December 25 and 26 and January 1) with the following schedule:
Red route

Yellow route
April to September: 9:45 am to 4:15 pm
Buses operate every 30 minutes.
