At the indicated time, we'll meet on Mitchell Street to start the street art tour. During this tour, we will explore unfamiliar alleyways and the lower reaches of bridges to see how street art has developed in the area.
As we walk, we'll encounter street art murals by notable local and international artists, including Clyde, Clutha, Connolly, and RogueOne. Participants will have opportunities to take photographs.
We'll learn about the stories behind works such as Fellow Glasgow Residents and World's Most Economical Taxi. The tour will also cover the role of urban art as a method of protest and social criticism.
After 1.5 hours, the tour will conclude at the Billy Connolly mural, where we will say our goodbyes.
