Isle of Skye & Highlands Tour: 3 Days

Day 1: Glasgow - Lake Lomond - Glencoe - Fort William - Isle of Skye

We'll depart from Glasgow and head northwest to the village of Luss, on the banks of Loch Lomond. The journey continues through Tyndrum and Rannoch Moor to Glen Coe Valley, site of the 1692 Macdonald Clan massacre. After lunch in Fort William, we will have the opportunity to photograph Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Britain. We will then stop at Glen Garry and the Five Sisters of Kintail mountain range before concluding the day in Portree, where we check into our accommodation.

Day 2: Isle of Skye (Cuillin Mountains – Dunvegan – Kilt Rock)

After breakfast, the tour departs Portree to explore the Isle of Skye. You can choose to visit Dunvegan Castle, Uig, Flora MacDonald’s grave, and the Black Houses. We will also visit Duntulm Castle, take photos at Kilt Rock, and hike to Lealt Falls. The day will end with a view of the Old Man of Storr before returning to Portree.

Day 3: Eilean Donan – Loch Ness – Inverness – Pitlochry - Glasgow

The return trip includes Eilean Donan Castle and a lunch stop in Fort Augustus along Loch Ness. Keep an eye out for Nessie! We will travel south through Laggan and the Grampian mountains, stopping in Pitlochry for refreshments before concluding in Edinburgh. Your guide will facilitate the 50-minute train journey back to Glasgow.
