Isle of Skye & Highlands Tour: 3 Days

Day 1: Glasgow - Lake Lomond - Glencoe - Fort William - Isle of Skye

We'll depart from Glasgow and head northwest to the village of Luss, on the banks of Loch Lomond. Next, we travel north through Tyndrum, passing by Rannoch Moor. The tour includes a stop at Glen Coe Valley to admire the landscape of the 1692 Macdonald Clan massacre. We will stop in Fort William for lunch and photo opportunities of Ben Nevis. The day concludes in Portree on the Isle of Skye, where we will check into our accommodation.

Day 2: Isle of Skye (Cuillin Mountains – Dunvegan – Kilt Rock)

After breakfast, we depart Portree to explore the Isle of Skye. Available options include visits to Dunvegan Castle, Uig, Flora MacDonald’s grave, and the Black Houses. The journey continues to Duntulm Castle for views of Kilt Rock and a walk to Lealt Falls. The day ends with a visit to the Old Man of Storr before returning to Portree.

Day 3: Eilean Donan – Loch Ness – Inverness – Pitlochry - Glasgow

On the return journey to Edinburgh, we visit Eilean Donan Castle. We then stop at Fort Augustus for lunch with views of Loch Ness. The tour continues over Laggan and the Grampian mountains, with a final stop in Pitlochry for refreshments before concluding in Edinburgh. Your guide will take you to Edinburgh Waverley railway station for the 50-minute train journey back to Glasgow.
