Isle of Skye & Highlands Tour: 3 Days

Day 1: Glasgow - Lake Lomond - Glencoe - Fort William - Isle of Skye

We'll depart from Glasgow and head northwest to the picturesque village of Luss, on the banks of Loch Lomond. Next, we'll travel north through Tyndrum and Rannoch Moor, reaching Glen Coe Valley to admire the landscape of the 1692 Macdonald Clan massacre. Following that, a stop in Fort William will provide lunch and photo opportunities of Ben Nevis. We will proceed to Glen Garry and the Five Sisters of Kintail mountain range, ending the day in Portree, Isle of Skye, where we will check into our accommodation.

Day 2: Isle of Skye (Cuillin Mountains – Dunvegan – Kilt Rock)

After breakfast, we'll explore the Isle of Skye capital. Options include Dunvegan Castle, Uig, Flora MacDonald’s grave, and the Black Houses. The journey continues to Duntulm Castle to take photos of Kilt Rock and enjoy a walk to Lealt Falls. This day will finish with a visit to the Old Man of Storr before returning to Portree.

Day 3: Eilean Donan – Loch Ness – Inverness – Pitlochry - Glasgow

On our way back, we will see Eilean Donan Castle and stop in Fort Augustus for lunch with views of Loch Ness. The tour will continue south over Laggan and the Grampian mountains, concluding in the Victorian resort town of Pitlochry, before finishing in Edinburgh. Your guide will take you to Edinburgh Waverley railway station for the 50-minute train journey back to Glasgow.

Important Information

The tour will end in Edinburgh.
