Divine Eternal Father Basilica + Church Day Trip

On this day trip to the Divine Eternal Father Basilica and Church in the state of Goiás, we will explore two significant places of worship in Goiânia and their connections to the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer.

Description

Trinidade hosts the world's only basilica dedicated to the Divine Eternal Father. We will pick you up from your hotel in Goiânia to start our journey.

After a 1-hour ride, we will arrive at the Mother Church of the Divine Eternal Father, established in 1912 by the Redemptorist order. This site is the oldest sanctuary in Trinidade and includes a clock and bells imported from Germany. During our visit, we will discuss the history of the Holy Trinity devotion in this region, underlying the existence of two sanctuaries for the Eternal Father.

Next, we will visit the Divine Eternal Father Basilica, named during the papacy of Benedict XVI. Here, we will see stained glass windows and sacred art, and learn about the renovations of this religious monument.

After the tour, we will return you to your hotel in Goiânia, 4 hours after our initial pickup.
