Divine Eternal Father Basilica + Church Day Trip

On this day trip to the Divine Eternal Father Basilica and Church in the state of Goiás, we will explore two significant places of worship in Goiânia, examining their connections to the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer.

Description

Trinidade is home to the only basilica dedicated to the Divine Eternal Father. We will pick you up from your hotel in Goiânia to commence our journey to these significant sites.

After a 1-hour ride, we will arrive at the Mother Church of the Divine Eternal Father, a Redemptorist creation inaugurated in 1912. As the oldest sanctuary in Trinidade, it features a clock and bells imported from Germany. We will discuss the history of devotion to the Holy Trinity in this region, which has resulted in two sanctuaries dedicated to the Eternal Father.

We will then proceed to the Divine Eternal Father Basilica, granted this title during the papacy of Benedict XVI. Inside, you will see its stained glass windows and sacred art, along with information on the various renovations that have shaped this monument.

Following the tour of both sites, we will return you to your hotel in Goiânia, 4 hours after pickup.
