Discover the underwater world of Nilaveli with this diving activity for beginners. You can choose your dive depth and will be accompanied by a professional instructor.

Nilaveli Beginner's Diving

When you book, you can select one of the following options depending on the depth you want to dive.

For all bookings, we'll meet at 1:30 pm and take you to the Nilaveli Diving Centre where you'll be given your equipment. Then, we'll board a speedboat to one of the best diving areas for beginners. After a 40 to 50 minute dive, we'll return to the mainland for around 4:30 pm.

6-metre dive

This option is suitable for individuals who have never been diving before and lack confidence. You will be accompanied by the instructor throughout the dive.

12-metre dive

complete experience, this option allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres. You will also learn how to prepare and handle the equipment, moving closer to becoming a certified diver.

Hotel pick up

This activity includes pick up from hotels located in Nilaveli, Trincomalee, Uppuveli, and Kuchchaveli.

Important information

After the activity, you must wait at least 24 hours before flying or traveling to areas of high altitude.
