Nilaveli Fun Diving for Certified Divers

At your chosen time, pickup from your hotel in Nilaveli will occur. You will be taken to the diving centre, where the instructor will provide a briefing on the day's dive. Afterward, you will board the boat and prepare for the dive as you sail in Nilaveli's waters, enjoying the views of areas like Pigeon Island.

Depending on your booking, you will complete one or two dives to explore the rich seabed of the Indian Ocean, encountering various marine life including colorful fish, rays, sea turtles, and possibly a blacktip reef shark.

After the dives, you will return to the diving centre and be dropped off at your hotel.

Requirements

Participation requires an International Open Water Diver Certificate or equivalent.

Hotel pick up

Pickup is included for hotels in Nilaveli. If you are staying elsewhere, you need to reach Ward No. 1, 9th Mile Post on your own.

After the activity, you must wait at least 24 hours before flying or going to high-altitude areas.
