PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

Complete your diver training in Nilaveli with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. You'll increase your dive depth to 30 metres and practice three adventure dives.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

After completing the PADI Open Water Course, you can advance with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. This course involves five dives, including mandatory Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation, plus three adventure dives of your choice from the following:

Shipwreck diving.Night diving.Identification of AWARE fish.Boat diving.Buoyancy.

Day 1: Deep diving and underwater navigation

On Day 1, pick-up from your hotel will be at 8:30 am to the diving centre in Nilaveli. You will receive your equipment before boarding a speedboat to the dive site. You will master deep diving and underwater navigation, learning to dive to 30 metres and navigate using a compass. After the dives, return to your hotel.

Days 2 and 3: Adventure dives

Days 2 and 3 are dedicated to the three adventure dives you've selected. Options include night diving, shipwreck exploration, or buoyancy improvement. Upon completing all exercises, you will finish the Advanced Open Water Diver course.

Requirements

To obtain the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate, you must have previously completed the PADI Open Water Course.

Hotel pick up

This activity includes pick-up from hotels in Nilaveli. If staying elsewhere, travel to Ward No. 1, 9th Mile Post on your own.
