Complete your diver training in Nilaveli with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. You'll increase your dive depth to 30 metres and practice 3 adventure dives.

If you have completed the PADI Open Water Course, the next step is the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. You will complete five dives, including mandatory Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation, plus three from the options below:

Shipwreck diving.Night diving.Identification of AWARE fish.Boat diving.Buoyancy.

Day 1: Deep diving and underwater navigation

The first day begins with hotel pick-up at 8:30 am and transport to the diving centre in Nilaveli. After receiving your equipment, you will take a speedboat to the dive site. The morning focuses on mastering deep diving and underwater navigation techniques, allowing you to dive to a depth of 30 metres and navigate with a compass.

Post dives, you will be returned to your hotel.

Days 2 and 3: Adventure dives

Days two and three are dedicated to the three adventure dives you selected, offering opportunities such as night diving, shipwreck exploration, or buoyancy improvement.

Completing all exercises will finalize your Advanced Open Water Diver course.

Requirements

Completion of the PADI Open Water Course is required to obtain the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate.

Hotel pick up

Hotel pick-up is included for locations in Nilaveli. If not, you must reach Ward No. 1, 9th Mile Post on your own.
