PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

For those who have successfully completed the PADI Open Water Course and wish to delve further into scuba diving, the appropriate next step is the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.

This course will consist of five dives, including the necessary Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation. Participants will then select three optional adventure dives from the following options:

Diving at a shipwreck.Diving at night.AWARE Fish Identification.Diving from a boat.Buoyancy control.

Day 1: Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation

The program begins with a hotel pickup at 8:30 am, followed by transportation to the diving centre in Nilaveli. Upon arrival, you will be equipped with your diving gear before boarding the speedboat to the designated dive site.

Throughout the morning, we will focus on mastering deep diving and underwater navigation. These essential techniques will teach you to dive to a depth of 30 metres and navigate effectively using a compass underwater.

After completing the dives for the day, we will return you to your hotel.

Days 2 and 3: Adventure Dives

The subsequent two days are reserved for conducting your chosen three adventure dives.

No matter the selections you make, expect to experience two incredible days exploring the underwater landscape of Nilaveli and its neighboring waters. You may opt for night diving, seek out a shipwreck, or refine your buoyancy skills.

Once you successfully complete all exercises, you will finalize the Advanced Open Water Diver course.

Requirements

To earn the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, it is essential that you have completed the PADI Open Water Course.

Hotel Pickup

This experience includes pickup from hotels in Nilaveli. If your accommodation is located elsewhere, you will need to arrange your transportation to Ward No. 1, 9th Mile Post.
