PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

Complete your diver training in Nilaveli with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, allowing you to dive up to 30 metres and practice 3 adventure dives.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

Designed for those who have completed the PADI Open Water Course, this course consists of five dives, including mandatory Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation. Students will choose three additional adventure dives from the following options:

Shipwreck diving.Night diving.Identification of AWARE fish.Boat diving.Buoyancy.

Day 1: Deep diving and underwater navigation

On day one, pick-up from your hotel is at 8:30 am, followed by transport to the diving centre in Nilaveli. After receiving equipment, you'll travel by speedboat to the dive site for deep diving and underwater navigation training, reaching a maximum depth of 30 metres and learning compass navigation. Return to your hotel after the dives.

Days 2 and 3: Adventure dives

The second and third days focus on the three adventure dives you selected, exploring the sea bed of Nilaveli and surrounding areas through activities like night diving and shipwreck discovery. Completing all exercises will certify you as an Advanced Open Water Diver.

Requirements

Completion of the PADI Open Water Course is required to obtain the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certificate.

Hotel pick up

This activity includes hotel pick up for locations in Nilaveli. Participants staying elsewhere must travel to Ward No. 1, 9th Mile Post.
