Day Trip to Nova Petrópolis

We will meet at the meeting point in Canela or Gramado based on your booking preference, and begin the trip to Nova Petrópolis.

The first German immigrants arrived in Nova Petrópolis in 1858 from Pomerania, Bohemia, and Saxony. Upon arrival, we will explore this history at Pedras do Silêncio park and visit Aldeia do Imigrante to understand their settlement.

Next, we'll visit Praça das Flores (or Praça da República) and admire its lush vegetation, followed by a trip to the Green Maze to navigate through cypress trees.

Our tour continues at Casa Sander, a family-run agribusiness from Bohemia, where we will sample three jellies with crackers, toast, juice, and tea.

Following this, we will visit the Edelbrau brewery to learn about local beer culture. The day concludes with shopping at Mukli Alfajores.

The excursion to Nova Petrópolis lasts nine hours and returns to the starting point.
