Join us to discover one of the lushest landscapes in Brazil on this excursion to the Itaimbezinho Canyon. We'll see the largest canyon in Latin America and learn about the native wildlife.

Itaimbezinho Canyon Day Trip

We'll pick you up at the selected meeting point at the scheduled time and head to the city of Cambará do Sul to explore the largest canyon in Latin America.

Once in the Aparatos da Serra National Park, we'll admire the Itaimbezinho canyon, which is almost 6 kilometers (4 miles) long and 700 meters (2,300 feet) deep. This site has been a filming location for various Brazilian series and movies.

In the vicinity of the gorge, we'll discuss its basaltic walls, formed more than 130 million years ago through tectonic movements and eruptions. This sedimentation led to a rich ecosystem, including species of the Atlantic Forest and Araucaria Forest.

During this 6-kilometer (3.72-mile) journey, we'll walk along two low-difficulty trails, the Vértice and Cotovelo, leading to lookout points with stunning views. Remember to bring your camera!

While enjoying the beauty of the canyon, we'll also have a picnic lunch.

After a day filled with activities, we will conclude the Itaimbezinho Canyon excursion by dropping you off back at the meeting point.
