On this Italian immigration tour of Gramado, we'll explore the cultural heritage of the Italian settlers.
Italian Culture Tour
We will meet at Praça das Etnias to board a jardineira, a traditional Brazilian bus. The tour will focus on the traditions brought by Italian immigrants from Europe.
The first stop is Casa Centenária, a wooden cottage showcasing key historical aspects of Italian immigrant life. Next, we will visit Ervateira Marcon to learn about the process of making mate herbs.
Following this, we'll visit the Fioreze Museum, where Mr. Nelson Fioreze will present his collection of antique objects.
The tour concludes at Caffé Della Nonna, where we will enjoy a snack featuring fresh homemade bread, butter, fruit jam, and cheese, along with drinks like coffee, tea, juices, and wine. This afternoon snack will be accompanied by live traditional music.
We will return to the meeting point after four hours, concluding the tour.
