On this Italian immigration tour of Gramado, we'll immerse ourselves in the cultural heritage of the Italian settlers.
Italian Culture Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Praça das Etnias to board a jardineira, a traditional Brazilian bus. We'll learn about the traditions brought by Italian immigrants from Europe that have been passed down through generations.
Our first stop will be at the Casa Centenária, a wooden cottage showcasing the history of the Italian immigrants. Next, we'll visit Ervateira Marcon, where a local will demonstrate the process of making mate herbs.
Then we'll proceed to the Fioreze Museum, where Mr. Nelson Fioreze will present his collection of antique objects.
The tour will conclude at Caffé Della Nonna, where we'll enjoy a snack featuring fresh homemade bread, butter, fruit jam, and cheese, along with drinks such as coffee, tea, juices, and wine. This afternoon snack will be accompanied by live traditional music from the region.
Finally, we'll return to the meeting point, concluding the tour four hours after it begins.
