Linha Ávila Jardineira Bus Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Praça das Etnias in Gramado and board a jardineira, a local vehicle similar to a bus.
On this tour through Linha Ávila, a popular route in Gramado, we'll discover the legacy of the European and Gaucho cultures. We'll start by meeting the Wagner family, who will welcome us to their home to show the rural side of Gramado and share the history of Lírio and Terezinha. We'll also visit a strawberry plantation, with the option to purchase homemade sweets made with local products.
We'll continue to explore the history of Italian immigration at Cantina Nonno Giovanni, where we'll see how wines are produced and taste traditional delicacies, such as cheeses, sausages, and homemade bread.
The tour concludes at Sítio Tradição, a place to learn about indigenous and Gaucho culture and cuisine. Here we'll enjoy a typical lunch featuring grilled ribs. Free time will be provided for a workshop or horseback ride if desired.
After a total of six hours, we'll return to the starting point at Praça das Etnias.
