If you're in Canela, don't miss this hiking tour of the Caracol waterfall. Apart from hiking through the lush forest, we'll ride an off-roading vehicle to explore remote areas of Rio Grande do Sul.
Tour Details
At the appointed time we'll meet at the Casa da Vó Ivonne cafeteria to observe items connected to German immigration. Then, we'll enter an off-roading vehicle to commence our adventure. Discover the charms of the Caracol State Park.
Upon arrival at the starting point of the Caracol waterfall hiking trail, we'll begin our walk through the forest, observing the local plants and wildlife while hearing the waterfall and birds.
During the tour, we will discuss the life of German immigrant Guilherme Wasem and his family, the first settlers of Caracol State Park in 1863.
We will reach the Caracol waterfall, which falls from a height of 131 meters (430 feet) into the Lageana valley. Remember to bring your camera for this experience! You can enjoy the waterfall while swinging on the Infinite Swing, weather permitting.
After lunch, we'll return to the off-roading vehicle for the trip back to the meeting point, arriving 4 hours after pickup.
