Did you know that The Quartet was the second Brazilian film to be nominated for an Oscar? On this tour from Gramado, we'll explore the scenery that served as inspiration for this feature film.

Tour of the Sets of 'The Quartet'

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Praça das Etnias in Gramado and set off on this tour of the sets of 'The Quartet'. During the excursion, we'll visit the locations that inspired this Oscar-nominated film from 1996.

The Quartet, originally titled O Quatrilho, tells the story of two couples of Italian origin who leave their home in search of a better life in Brazil. The plot, set in 1910, is based on real events, which will be covered during the tour.

The route will first take us to the winery of the Lazaretti family on the outskirts of Gramado, where we will see its vineyards and large wooden barrels while learning about the history of this Italian farm.

We will cross the landscapes of Campestre do Tigre and Tapera to discover where the protagonists of O Quatrilho lived, exploring the history of Italian immigration in Rio Grande do Sul.

We'll also stop at Grings Mill, an old mill connected to the film The Quartet.

To conclude the tour, we will visit the Ramm family home for a traditional-style lunch reflecting the flavors of Italian and German immigration.

The excursion will finish at 7 pm, returning to the starting point.
