Join us to explore Rio Grande do Sul's connections with Italy through a wine tour in Vale dos Vinhedos. This tour includes visits to several wineries with tastings and insights into the history of Italian immigration in the 19th century.
Vale dos Vinhedos Wine Tour
The tour begins with a pickup at the selected meeting point, followed by a journey through the Vale dos Vinhedos region, noted for its vineyards.
Our first stop will be the Miolo winery, producing over 10 million liters (nearly 3 million gallons) of wine annually. Participants will enjoy a guided tour to learn about the production process and the Italian family behind the winery. A wine tasting featuring five different varieties will be included.
Next, we will visit the Lovara winery, founded in 1887 by Italian immigrants, where guests will learn about its origins and taste three wines.
A lunchtime break at a local restaurant will be provided for those who wish to eat.
The final stop is the Garibaldi winery, where guests will tour the vineyards and taste various wines from Vale dos Vinhedos. The tour concludes after a total of 10-11 hours with a return to the starting point.
