Join us to explore Rio Grande do Sul's links with Italy on this wine tour through Vale dos Vinhedos. We'll visit several wineries with tasting included while learning the history of Italian immigration during the 19th century.
Vale dos Vinhedos Wine Tour
We'll pick you up at the chosen meeting point to start a wine tour through the Vale dos Vinhedos region, characterized by its vineyards.
The first stop will be at the Miolo winery, producing over 10 million liters (nearly 3 million gallons) of wine annually. A guided tour will reveal their production process and the history of the Italian family behind it, followed by a wine tasting of five different varieties.
Next, we will visit the Lovara winery, founded in 1887 by two Italian immigrants, where we will learn about its origins and taste three wines.
A lunch break will be provided at a local restaurant for your convenience.
The tour concludes at the Garibaldi winery, where we'll visit their vineyards and taste their wines. The excursion lasts a total of 10-11 hours, ending back at the starting point.
