Join us to explore Rio Grande do Sul's connections with Italy on this wine tour through Vale dos Vinhedos. Visit several wineries with tasting included while learning about Italian immigration in the 19th century.
Vale dos Vinhedos Wine Tour
We'll pick you up at the selected meeting point and begin the wine tour through the Vale dos Vinhedos region, known for its vineyards.
The first stop will be the Miolo winery, producing over 10 million liters (nearly 3 million gallons) of wine per year. A guided tour will reveal their production process and the history of the Italian family behind the winery.
Participants will enjoy a wine tasting of five different varieties to appreciate the nuances of the wines from Vale dos Vinhedos.
The tour will proceed to the Lovara winery, founded in 1887 by Italian immigrants, where we will explore its history and taste three wines.
A lunch break will be available at a local restaurant for those who wish to eat.
The final stop will be the Garibaldi winery, where participants will tour the vineyards and taste additional wines.
The excursion lasts 10-11 hours, concluding back at the starting point.
